The Kawelin restaurant brings to mind the colourful figure of Mikołaj Kawelin – a well-known resident of Białystok – a companion at boisterous parties, a friend of athletes, the president and sponsor of the Jagiellonia club, and a generous benefactor. Mikołaj Kawelin would probably like the place. It is located near the monument of the dog Kawelin, which was made and placed in the Planty park by two sculptors from Białystok for fun. The interior of the restaurant recalls the times of pre-war Białystok, and the decor combines the features of an elegant restaurant and an unpretentious local bar, where you can eat decently and joke freely. We welcome here all those who appreciate Polish cuisine and refined flavours. The Chef passionately creates dishes based on regional products harmoniously combined with modern culinary trends.
